idëmo! – Association for Friends of the Western Balkans – idëmo! is an Austrian diaspora organization for everyone who has ties to the Western Balkan region and wishes for its better future.

Riggin Hittn – My brother is a rigger and a very good one too—or so I am told. If you know what that is and you need one, he is your man.

Frauendomäne – Two friends built this database of female expertise. Need a qualified woman for a panel, publication, or event?? Good news! There are plenty.

Buecherstube Baumann – The dusty, chaotic, and truly wonderful independent bookstore I worked at when I was a student.

Buchhandlung Bernhard Riedl – Where I go for advice and mental health. There is nothing on the website except the address and phone number, because Bernhard and Sandra are all about the books.

Barbara Pacholik – Unique painted portraits and workshops

Thomas Kranabetter – Artist, digital something; I don’t understand half of what he does, but he made a gun out of meat and I respect that.

Lisa Ante – Visual artist exploring her Filipino-Austrian identity. She is also sort of related to me—like a sister-in-law but not really. A sister anyway.

Halo Halo – A Filipino-Austrian diaspora organization casting light on the essential contribution they make to our society. They started a campaign to counter the racist and disrespectful way some politicians speak about attracting skilled workers from the Philippines.

poledu – A very cool NGO teaching young people about how politics and various democratic institutions in Austria really work.
